Mimi sighed. All the other people in the gang were out doing something, completely forgetting about her! Her blonde hair that usually touched the floor was now in a braid. Her silver eyes that had a spark of energy nearly always in them seemed dull and drab. She changed her pyjamas into a small floral patterned pink dress. But what really got her down, however, was the fact that Miss. Fabulous was sick, with an average cold.
Sighing, she searched her room for her remote control. Muttering lame corny jokes to herself, she tripped over her drapes and fell on top of her face. Groaning, she rubbed her jaw. Lazily, she looked up in front of her. Her father just so happened to be at the factory where he started, most likely for the contentment of gloating about his huge success. In fact, he was so successful, that he was able to buy a huge mansion for him and his daughter! He was a fairly calm man, though.
Mimi mentally slapped herself. She shouldn't be thinking about her dad, she had to find something to do! She groaned and, for the one millionth time, wished that her father hired maids and butlers. Why he didn't in the first place, she didn't know. She only wished that he did. She got up slowly and brushed her dress off from any dust, though she already knew that there wasn't any from the fact she was a neat-freak.
She listened to the sounds of her bare feet hitting the cold, hard, wooden floor. For some reason, she always preferred loud over quiet. Naomi would disagree with that, though. She said that loud places make it hard to think. Mimi thought the exact opposite.
She sighed. Naomi was a really good friend, in fact, she even helped Mimi to learn how to play the piano! Though, they had many fights too. A sudden idea popped into Mimi's mind.
She ran towards the music room, full of different and yet beautiful instruments. She glanced towards her violin, always kept inside a mulberry colored fashion case.  She also took a look at her mandolin, marveling at the fresh and well polished shiny wood. What she came here for, though, was for the grand piano.
The black polished cover made it seem unreal. The keys always kept clean, never, under any circumstances dirty, were greeted with eccentric silver eyes. Mimi smiled to herself, and walked over. There was a black desk near the piano, which held millions of pieces. Picking her personal favorite, she set the Manila folder on top of the rest and opened it up.
She murmered herself a good luck, and began playing Moonlight Sonata. The very way she played it, made you feel like you were in a concert. Every graceful movement and sound tha came from her hands, were the only thing she needed to continue playing. Smiling to herself, Mimi decided to take this to the next level. She closed her eyes. Trying her best not to miss a note, she hummed a quite tune to herself.
That is, until she heard a faint noise. Growling under her breath, she looked past the piano to find a script of...paper? Frowning, she walked over to pick it up. She closely examined the front. There seemed to be a words on it, but it was either rushed or damaged in the process. The paper was an unhealthy shade of yellow, which proved it to be old. Continuing to examine the paper, Mimi let out a silent gasp as she realized her name was written in bold letters in the bottom left corner.
She didn't want to examine this alone. She called Miss. Fabulous.
